Named after an 18th-century Fishamble Street madam reputedly Ireland's first serial killer, Darkey Kelly's sits on one of Dublin's oldest streets where Handel's Messiah received its world premiere in 1742. Established in 1994, it runs live traditional and folk music every night from 6:30pm, carries over 70 Irish whiskeys, and is celebrated for its bangers & mash, beef stew, and exceptionally welcoming atmosphere.
