Established in 1942 and filming location for Ed Sheeran's 'Galway Girl' music video featuring Saoirse Ronan, O'Connor's is Galway's original singing pub in Salthill — open only from 7:30pm every night, with no TV, no sport, and no food. The eclectic interior is festooned with farmyard tools, a John Wayne statue, vintage bric-à-brac from floor to ceiling, and nightly live traditional music.
